YAHAPALANAYA’S CREATION OF “A COUNTRY WORTH LIVING IN.” (PANNARAYA)

“Pannaraya” is a program carried out by the Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs which under the control of Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka, to upgrade the talents and skills of the youth of the country. In fact, this is one of the most important objectives. But one problem arised. That is, when the presidential election and general election is not too far away, why implement a Yahapalanaya (Good Governance) manifesto that does not have “Pannaraya”? In order for Patali Champika Ranawaka’s dream of being President to come true, he should mostly focus on the strength of the country’s youth. Because back in 2015, it was the young people who took the heavy burden of bringing the Yahapalanaya government into power. Although the youth had worked so hard for a change, the fate of the youth today is very sad. Universities students cannot protest as they wish and the use of social networking sites has been restricted. Due to near incidents like ministers fleeing innocent lives of the youth, the Yahapalanaya government is losing out on the votes of the youth. Among the promises of Yahapalanaya government in the past, free wifi and little car dreams remain a dream today. Since the youth generation is armed with arms against the government, Patali Champika Ranawaka has obtained a contract from the government to polish up the Yahapalanaya deceptive advertisements like small cars to appease the youth. As a bribe to this the government has promised to give the finance ministry position.

Why didn’t the Yahapalanaya government realize the necessity of a “Panaraya” four years ago?

Fantasies such Free Wi-fi and small cars which were promises given to the youth by the present government weren’t put into action because this government is a government of eunuchs and cocaine addicts/dealers. Even though the present government attempts all various ways & means to deceive the youth, they are now unable to do so. The young generation is intelligent. The Yahapalanaya government spends millions of rupees on various propaganda campaigns which are being implemented. An example for this is the “Enterprise Sri Lanka” program. An amount of Rs. 49 million has been wasted for propaganda purposes of this program. If this money was utilized for the upliftment of the youth, it would have enabled them to support the development of the country. The theme of “Pannaraya” is “A Country Worth Living In.” But has this Yahapalanaya left us a country worth living in? In 15 minutes, 250 people were left dead and 500 were disabled. Is this the so called “Country Worth Living In” the Yahapalanaya government created? If you can’t travel to a temple or church freely, is this a country worth living in?

A country where the price of rice and coconut went up to an amount of Rs. 100, is a country worth living in?

If this is a country is worth living in, then why a number of 67000 of women fled the country during the time of the Yahapalanaya government?

Yearly a number of 6000 professionals left the country, because this country is worth living in?

400,000 of youths are unemployed because this is a country that is worth living in?

As long as this Yahapalanaya government stays in power, instead of creating “A Country Worth Living In” for our citizens “A Country Worth Fleeing Away From” will be created.

There’s no doubt that through the SOFA and ACSA agreements this government will create “A Country Worth Living In” for the American Military.
