"Panama Papers" is a black money-laundering racket in the state of Panama, and in 2016, the corporation Mossack Fonseca released a list of those who made money in the Panama Papers, and the name of Minister Champika's close friend Mr. Vidya Amarapala was included in that list. In 2011, when Champika was appointed as the Minister of Power and Energy, Vidya Amarapala was appointed as the Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board, and in that very same year the CEB signed a dubious 3000 million worth power supply contract that would incur losses with the knowledge of Champika and Vidya Amarapala. Vidya Amarapala was also appointed as the Advisor of Champika's MegaPolis Ministry which is under the Yahapalana government.
Vidya Amarapala, who has so much in common with Minister Champika, has put millions of dollars in Panama papers, so where is this much of money coming from? Whose money did he deposit? Can an Administrative Officer make this much money? Did Champika deposit this money in the name of Vidya Amarapala?
