The National Rupavahini Corporation is a cultural value channel that has also been named as the "Channel of the Nation". But as of today, the mother of the Nation's art Rupavahini has been left in a very tragic situation due to Mangala's doings. Today the Yahapalana has appointed the so called Gaja Mithuro Society (Mango Friends) as an epitome, which has made it impossible to pay employees their wages without gaining an income. For the first time in world, National Rupavahini Corporation is the only channel in the world that consist of two Chairmen. That is, when Inoka Sathyangani of the NGO that brought naked and homosexual culture to Sri Lanka was appointed as a Chairman, on the 18th of July 2019 Sanjeewa Wijegunawardane who is a friend of Minister of Ruwan Wijewardane was also appointed as Chairman and now both are being paid a salary in millions by the taxes paid by the people to the government. The Rupavahini Corporation, which made profits during the previous regime, has been transformed into an institution where employees cannot even be paid their wages and Mangala and Minister Ruwan is plundering the public's money which results in a situation where helpless families are being dragged out onto the streets.
Is this the so called Media Freedom that this Yahapalana government had promised?
