As we all know, Ranil Wickremesinghe is a person who has no interest in race or religion. When he entered into politics in the year of 1970, the racism of Ceylon began to grow in Kelaniya which is a town not far from Batalanda. After the 1971 JVP struggle, private underworld gangs were launched since UNP politicians called for the safety after JVP insurgency coincides with Ranil's political arrival. The question that arises for us is that all the riots in the country, the communal Tamil riots, the Tigers' war, and the recent Easter Sunday Muslim extremist attack, were caused with the arrival of Ranil and his prime time. Did these happen naturally? Or were these caused?
The responsibility of the Tamil comrades who died in the Batalanda Detention Centre was laid on the Sinhalese and the responsibility of the Tamil youths killed on the Sinhalese and this was done by none other than by the then Minister Ranil in the period of his youth.Thalatha Athukorale's brother Gamini Athukorala's brother who fought for the leadership of the UNP with His Royalness Ranil died a mysterious death in his very own bed in his sleep. Also, Lalith Athulathmudali and Gamini Dissanayake, who contested for the leadership, were subjected to the bomb attacks by the Tigers, but surprisingly, Ranil Wickremesinghe did not even threaten the Tigers. Sri Lanka's most prominent Buddhist businessman Upali Wijewardene who mysteriously died during the time of the UNP, in a manner where his body wasn't even found. Venerable Soma Thero who spoke up for the whole Nation was mysteriously killed in Russia during the period of Ranil Wickremesinghe who was the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka at the time. Also, when Sobhitha Thera who was burdened with bringing the Yahapalana government to power, passed away at a time when he was disillusioned with the government and pointed the finger at the government, when Ranil Wickramasinghe was also the Prime Minister at that very same time. If renowned Muslim leaders such as Imthiaz Bakeer Markar have retired from political life, why are extremist leaders like Rishard Bathiudeen who the country is pointing fingers at for the Easter Sunday Attack is being keep close by the Prime Minister?. On what promises was the support of the TNA given in order to gain the Prime Minister post, which had close ties with the Tigers?
Rishard and Sampanthan had close ties with extremists because it was an easy way to spread communalism in order to fulfill the greed that Ranil has for power. Ranil stated that Rishard was not involved in the Easter Sunday attack even before investigations regarding the attack is over. While Ranil Wickremesinghe acquitted Rishad Bathiudeen from the Easter Sunday Attack accusations, Ranjan Ramanayake accuses the Bhikkus of rape. Isn't this the expectation of theirs to sow racism and extremism, then become the Prime Minister of the country and get the SOFA agreement signed?
