Government’s Expenditure.

The Yahapalana government is in a serious financial crisis, which has created a situation for the people where it is unable to live. However, billions are spent for the survival of the government and for the existence of the Yahapalana MPs. In a time when state revenues have fallen by 23%, the Finance Ministry has informed the Treasury to cut down government expenditure, the public's money is being plundered only for the benefit of the Ministers of Yahapalana government. The government is even unable to pay the salaries of state employees, but the government spends millions of rupees thinking this country is the richest in the world. The government had spent an amount of Rs. 693 million for meetings that were held in Gampola and Anuradhapura, and also an amount of Rs. 73 million was spent for T-shirts for a Samurdhi propaganda. The U.N.P government spends between Rs. 800 to 900 million propaganda campaigns to reclaim the government without interruption.

Further, the National Lotteries Board pays the salaries to Mangala Samaraweera's criticizing websites. The General Manager of the Lottery Board who had been reluctant to commit this fraud was immediately transferred to the Ministry of Finance as it was difficult to find his own way.

The Colombo Harbor generates an income more than $100 million a year. It takes $21 billion to construct the Colombo-East terminal, and it has an ability to generate an income of $200-250 billion a year. But cabinet papers are being made in order to hand the Eastern terminal to India, when the port reserve has an amount of 25 billion which is clearly to just commit another financial fraud. No matter whatever the government is accused of, such as scams, it's like "Like water off a duck's back". It is our duty to banish the Yahapalana government who creates major financial crisis in the country and that creates an environment that people cannot live in.
